Welcome to Walt’s Waltz Self-Care Tips page!

We encourage people to print and post the Self-Care Tips in restrooms, and staff break rooms, and stick them on daily reminder boards—or wherever you feel is most helpful for you and others. These skills can be used in moments when you are noticing feelings of anxiety or emotional distress. You can think of them as a toolkit that helps you access self-help skills that might be helpful during moments when things are beginning to feel unmanageable. Please note that if you feel you are in a mental health emergency, please reach out to one of the crisis support groups at the bottom of the Self-Care Tips page. We have included live links to each crisis line and support group that can be accessed via our website or by scanning the QR Code found at the very top of the Self-Care Tips page.

Dial 988 if you are in a crisis. You can talk to someone at 988 even if you are not in crisis or you are worried about someone. Don’t wait!
